Yes. Every article, table and checklist on CavyNest is free to read with no paywall and no account. The future PDF handbooks and Pro tools are the only items that may carry a price.

Why sell PDFs if the site is education-first?

The handbooks package, lay out and maintain deeply structured content—checklists, logs and phrasebooks—that is awkward to use across scattered web pages. The online care articles remain free.

When will the handbooks launch?

Only after editing and an external veterinary fact-check against common consensus. Dates will appear on this page and via the notification email; we will not pre-sell before review is complete.

Will free content disappear behind a paywall later?

No. Existing guides stay free, and core topics—feeding standards, emergency signs and compliance—remain open for everyone.

What about refunds, rescues and classroom use?

Refund terms will be published before any sale opens. Rescues and educators can contact us before launch and we will arrange free or bulk-access options.
